EXTRA PRINTS!!! Part Deux

This was from my first roll of film. I didn't know much about composition and how to use my light meter.  BUT, if you wanted a picture of melman from Madagascar.... there you have it.
Just a random Idea that came up to me while my friend Ellie was on a tree while helping me with my blur project.
I don't remember what this is but it looked cool....I know it was in a Mormon church. From my first Photo project.

Blur!!!!

This was my pride and joy of my whole semester. I used the panning technique and in my student mind, it came out perfect. I am so proud of my work and I am thankful that my wonderful and beautiful friend Ellie was there to help me.
This was our first attempt at panning with her as my subject and  it didn't turn out the way i wanted it but its still an example of panning.  We had so much fun in the first half of this project.

This was my pathetically awesome attempt at the other technique to intentionally blur. It turned out fairly decent and it involved both of my passions, Guitar playing and Photography.

This pictures turned out completely different than what I expected. My head ended up more blurry since I got too into the music and my left hand was way too fast.
Contact sheet turned out ok-ish. Just tried my best to find good pictures but i ended up having just four decent pictures.

multiple exposures

This is hard to see but Im on the back licking my guitar while the picture of the giraffe is the main subject. You can kinda see and outline of me. (yes im weird)

This is a picture of two of my close friends who are also in photo 1. I thought this was hilarious since the reaction of my friend Delaney( on the left) matches the action of my friend B'Elanna( on the right)

This was a pretty nice picture of my hand reaching to my friend Ellie. The branches add texture to the picture making it more pleasing to see.

A picture of my friend Rand biking thought the forest as a ghost.

This wasn't as cool as the others but still looks mysterious and just plain strange, which for me, makes it so much better

Landscapes!!!!!

Landscape picture taken in Jurgens Park. One of my personal favorite places in the world.

Forest area around Jurgens. I had fun finding places that look interesting and simple. I was especially amusing when people gave me looks as if i was a professional photographers of some sorts.
I screwed up on printing this pictures as you can provably tell, it is slanted. This was a farm near Jurgens and had cows but i manage to get find an empty spot.

This is a picture of puddle but it looked like some landscape to me and i really liked it. Hopefully you do too.
This  was a great picture except for the stupid basketball court on the background. I still think its great except for that major flaw.

My contact sheet in which I clearly failed at.

Extra credit. Multiple exposures.

This is my favorite picture to ever have been printed by me. My friends Charles and i decided to combine our pictures to have more options and create more diverse and unique pictures. This looks amazing and if you couldn't tell thats a toy giraffe in the middle. Wished my guitar had that pattern and color on it.

This is just for kicks. My friend Delaney hates pictures of her and i love taking them. in the end i end up with a few bruises and she ends up on more of my pictures. :)

Scanned face!!!!!!

This was just weird, but also fun. We had to disinfected the scanners to put our faces in it with out having to worry bout bacteria and germs. The picture looks creepy and interests me.

Self-Portraits....Yes that is me.

Contact sheet... all my pictures most of them normal and plain except the last few but they didn't turn out so good.
Myself making a goofy face.... Nothing to it just thought it be pretty funny to make myself look like a fool. Picture turned out poorly but with the help of photoshop i managed to fix it a bit.
This is one that actually turned out ok. Just took a simple picture of me while i strolled around the park alone. The picture itself isn't too bad.
This is me just laying around relaxing. I saw a lot of people take a picture of themselves in this position so i decided to do it also I really like how it came out. I think i look pretty darn good on this one.  :{D

Self-Portraits

PORTRAITS

This is my contact sheet, here you can see all of my roll. I enjoyed this project since it annoyed my friend and made my father pose in silly ways.

This is my father, i picked the best exposed picture of him but even then i had to manipulated in photoshop because it was just too dark.

One of my favorite pictures ever!!!!!! My friend Delaney absolutely HATES IT!!! I enjoy annoying her but other than that i believe its actually a good picture.

Again Delaney in this one but i focused on her hair and how in contrasted against the dark. She has a really pretty hair color that even though its not capture here you can still see how it stands out with the shadows, which is what i really love from this picture.

Infrared!!!!!!! :D

Here we just learned how to make regular pictures into infrared pictures. This made all the green of the picture turn pinkish. I tweaked the pictures a bit more.
The trees look like cherry blossoms we get in early spring and the water looks mostly  pink because of their reflection.
This was a decent picture not really special. Its near my favorite park where i have very cherished memories on.
One of my favorites, the infrared really stands out and the blue water looks really good.
Probably the worst since you can't see the infrared much but still decent.

Tilt Shift

In this picture, I blurred the border of the picture to focus down the corridor making seem longer than it really is.

In this one, the top and bottom were blurred to focus on the students who were socializing in the morning. It gives a sense of the day to day live of a Tuhs student.

This is one of my favorites, The focus point is my friend Ethan, who was walking down the stairs completely unaware. The lens blur effect was applied around the edges surrounding my friend.

This is an interesting picture because the person who got photograph look straight at my camera and was so confused of what had just happened. I didn't bother to explain what I was doing and took the picture and left. The blur effect makes the fore and background seem less important than the middle ground.

This is probably the worst of the five. The reason I posted it was because the blur was alright and I like to learn from my mistakes. The camera was unfocused and the picture quality was poor.

I truely enjoyed this project and wished I had more expirience and time to take a good picture. I think this one was one of the best pictures i took on that film.

For the project, The objective was to capture something the I as a photographer that was beautiful.
For that reason, I took the Picture of my friend Sophie. She is beautiful and very fun to be around.
This is an example of a bad picture. It was out of focus but I thought the Idea of it is beautiful. In my arms is my friends baby Sister, Oona. Her name is rare but beautiful like her.
This picture is plain weird. I did not took the two pictures that are merged together. My friend charles took the picture of the guitar and the picture of the ladies walking was forgotten in my enlargers drawer.  So I don't know who to give credit for. This picture was an accident but I believed in it and instead of thinking of it as trash, I developed it because of its weird and distorted appearance. It kinda describe how I feel about music. I am so into it, it's like I'm walking on it.

Canmeras pictures...

The first picture I took by myself was this negative. I decided to take the picture outside and see the results.

This is just the positive of the last picture. I was interesting to see the how the picture differs from the negative and how simple the whole process was.

Here I took a picture of the outside of the school pointing to the child services room. Out there were some of my classmates doing their own projects and I thought it would be fun to take a picture of them while they were minding their own business.

The positive showed the reality. the picture wasn't very good but the experience helped me learn and become a better photographer.
